A dedicated website for everything relating to Covid-19 has recently been launched in New Zealand. There you will find helpful information for individuals, businesses, and communities as well as advice on best self-isolation and hygiene practices, essential businesses, and financial support. It also provides important information on what to do if you are, or someone you know is, displaying symptoms of Covid-19. Please head to covid19.govt.nz or call 0800 358 5453.
I understand that there is a lot of concern for business owners during the 4-week lockdown period and what this means for their jobs, employees, and livelihood. An email address and contact number for inquiries around essential businesses has been set up to help alleviate any confusion. That email is email@example.com and their contact number is 0508 377 388. On the Covid-19 website, you will also find a page dedicated to the financial support available during the crisis, including a wage subsidy scheme and business cash flow and tax measures.
The website is continuously updated with new information as it arises, but as always, if you have any concerns or questions you would like to share with me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring (09) 575 9842. I note that due to the high volume of calls, the lines may often go to voicemail. However, be assured that I am checking messages and emails regularly and will reply as soon as I am able to.
And lastly, if you have not already, check out my Facebook page. I regularly post updates and suggestions relating to Covid-19 there, and appreciate any and all engagements on my posts.
My thanks for all your support during this difficult and unprecedented time and, as always, remember to stay home, stay safe, and stay kind.
